Angela Vonderheide, CVT
Angela is one of the Certified Veterinary Technicians at Morton Animal Hospital. She graduated from the Vet Tech program at Parkland College in Champaign, IL in 2006.
Angela has enjoyed working in several small animal veterinary practices since becoming certified, though she has been working in veterinary hospitals since she was a teenager. She is excited about her new role at Morton Animal Hospital.
A well-rounded Vet Tech handles so many different things in a day, but some of Angela’s strengths are client education and venipuncture. Her passion for the field is driven by enriching the relationship between a customer and their pet. Helping someone learn how to keep their furry companion at their best is what Angela finds most rewarding.
Outside of work, Angela’s family keeps her very busy. She is a band-mom and sports-mom. She steals moments to enjoy a sweet coffee, any food that you can dip, a good show, or some sunshine. Angela and her husband have two pets; a small terrier mix named Miss Pickles and a big longhaired tuxedo cat named Sam Adams.
Amanda Fogal, CVT
Amanda is one of the Certified Veterinary Technicians at Morton Animal Hospital. She graduated from the Vet Tech program at Parkland College in Champaign, IL in 2010.
Amanda grew up on a small farm with many animals, which lead her to choose a career as a veterinary technician. She enjoys seeing how helping someone’s pet can change both the pet and owner’s lives. A certified veterinary technician plays many roles in the hospital, but some of her special interests are anesthesia and radiology.
Amanda and her husband have one son. Their family also includes a dilute orange cat named Vinny, two Quarter Horses named Scotty and Cash, and a pony named Dorothy.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys riding horses and spending time outdoors with her family.
